Terms and Conditions of Verpets
By creating an account with Verpets, you have agreed to our terms and conditions, as outlined below. We reserve the right to change these conditions at any time without prior notice. Failure to comply with these terms may result in account penalties or ban.
1) There shall be no more than one account per person. If we believe that you are using more than one account to create an unfair advantage for yourself, all accounts will be banned. If you are using a shared (public) computer, please inform a staff member to prevent any issues.
2) There shall be no cheating or abusing glitches of any sort. If you find a glitch, you must report it immediately. Abusing glitches creates an unfair advantage and ruins the fun for other players. Cheating or failing to report a glitch will result in an automatic account ban (no exceptions).
3) There shall be no imposing a staff member. Telling others that you are a staff member or performing staff duties of any sort will result in a warning. Speaking poorly of any staff member will result in an automatic account ban.
4) There shall be no spamming. Spamming on our forums, profile comment areas, or other is strictly prohibited. If you are observed spamming, you will receive a warning.
5) There shall be no use of foul language. Verpets is safe for people of all ages. As such, foul language is not permitted and will result in a warning. Constant or repetitive use of inappropriate language will result in an account ban.
6) There shall be no posting of advertisements. Discussing other websites is permitted, however, posting direct links is not (unless otherwise stated by a staff member). Advertising of fortresses, shops or Verpets fansites is excepted.
7) There shall be double banning. Verpets will not hesitate to contact the sites you attempt to advertise here, to have you also banned over there.

Privacy Policy

While use of the site is pre-dominantly targeted at individuals above the age of thirteen, those below this age are invited to do so with the permission of their respective parent or guardian. If you have registered to Verpets, you automatically agree you have parental permission to use all the features of Verpets, if you are under the age of 13, and Verpets can not be held responsible for any actions of underage material. All data collected from users of the site is the same and data collected from those below thirteen years of age will not be treated differently or kept separately from data of other users. As all children of thirteen years in age or younger should have parental permission to access the site, Verpets can not be held accountable or responsible for any seen ‘offensive’ materials after sign-up.

By joining the site or allowing your child to join the site you are personally accepting any possibilities that may occur can not be held responsible to Verpets and that the data was given over with your own consent.

Submission of Art
Any art you submit to Verpets (via email, VerMail, instant messenger or other) becomes property of Verpets, and may not be used, sold, edited or distributed elsewhere without direct written consent from the owner(s). This agreement remains in full effect even after you have quit or have been dismissed from Verpets. You agree to this statement upon registering.
