Description
With its wrinkly, fat, naked appearance, the Wugley isn't exactly the most attractive Verpet. These small but heavy rodents often sport large incisors that continuously grow during their life. Their skin is pale and often speckled with spots and freckles, and they are covered in the odd long bristly hair. They have a good sense of hearing and smell, but very poor eyesight.
Behavior
Wugleys are famed for their digging. They are constantly found tunneling and digging, often leaving rocky piles around their tunnel entrances. They are extremely territorial and nasty, and will swarm their attacker if disturbed; biting and clawing. They communicate with chirps and clicks. They make tricky pets to keep, as they are obnoxious, and feisty, but if caught young they can be tamed as loyal, loving pets.
Habitat
They live in underground burrows, where the cool temperatures keep them calm. Their burrows are really vast expanses of tunnels and chambers where they live in large family groups. Each chamber is like its own house, and they rarely if at all venture out except to clear out dirt from new tunnels. They are born underground, and stay underground.
