Description
Quagol are small cavern-dwelling Verpets that resemble geckos. They are amphibious with moist skin which is adorned with subtle stripes. Quagol have a bulbous tail in which it stores fat. There are small recesses in its tail where bioluminescent bacteria collect and allow their tails to brilliantly glow. Though they cannot fly as adults, Quagol sport a small pair of wings which allow them to glide long distances and escape from predators.
Behavior
Quagol live in large family groups where they work as a cohesive unit to herd Zygo together where they can be easily caught. They are friendly if treated well and will happily spend the day sitting on their owners' shoulders watching them go about their daily activities.
Habitat
Quagol can be found all throughout the caverns, but their largest numbers can be found near light sources where they can sun bathe to better regulate their body temperatures.
