Description
The pryder is a short haired mammal known for its hopping locomotion. Omnivorous, it eats a combination of vegetation and insects. Their powerful hind legs and claws are used for both defense and digging; it is common to see pryders burrowing for small prey. Depending on diet and environment, the Pryder can be anywhere from 3 feet tall to around 6 feet tall.
Behavior
Pryders normally live in migrating communities, and are therefore very social animals. Coupled with their curious nature, Pryders have been known to make co-dependent relationships with other species. They are an excellent Verpet to begin with.
Habitat
Pryders can be found roaming the open fields of Verpets. Normally found in protective groups during the daytime. At night, they can either be found in one of their burrows or sleeping together closely in a group.
