Description
Grolek are large, lumbering Verpets. They have a thick, 2 inch hide thats rough and rocky, and covered in varying sizes of pebble-like rock growths. As adults they sport weird bone growths on their skulls above the eyes, a large nose horn, and a set of curved lower tusks.
Behavior
With their small ears and bad eyesight, Groleks are often startled easily by loud noise or sudden movement and will charge at a surprisingly fast pace towards the offender, bowling down anything in their way. They are usually quiet and slow moving terravores (rock eaters) though, and enjoy rolling in dust and mud, or just lazing in the cool dark of the caves. They are simple, solitary creatures, and though often gentle, their unpredictable and destructive nature and heavy size make them a handful to keep as pets.
Habitat
Groleks like rocky, rough, dry terrain, as they are dead weight in water. They like cooler temperatures, and prefer to stay away from bright light and lots of sound, and thus often find the darkest, quietest of places to live in.
