It is a symbol viewed by fellow virtual pet site users on the Users Online page, the forums and all over the world of Verpets!
Hidden Avatars have to be unlocked by you by browsing around the site and completing site challenges. You are alerted whenever you unlock a hidden avatar and it will be displayed on this page for you to set as you Virtual Pet Site avatar.

At the
Avatar Marketplace you can also upload your own Verpets avatars for other users to purchase and use on site. Avatars cost 150 VerCredits to upload and you can make VerPoints from every user purchase.
