    To be sweet is the only way to be. A child born nearly blind, she has struggled through her whole life. Being unable to see brought her up humble, and caring. She will come across a crippled child and give them help, patience, and love, even when she gets none herself.

    Her parents raised her till the age of 4, when they had a near fatal accident. They laid in the hospital, side by side, for 2 years in deep comas. They never woke up, and her only grandmother came by to tell Halie that her parents were gone, and that she would be living at good 'ol grandmas house from now on. She was too young to understand it, but went sadly with the relative she hardly knew.

    But she was raised with love, and guidance from everyone around her. Until she got to school, she never understood the words 'mean' or 'bully'. But at school, the 'popular' kids, (though she never understood the term, as nobody but themselves cared for each other,) would trip her and call her nasty things, thinking that she was also an idiot, as she turned her blind gaze around the room, confused as the angry noise came from all sides.

    Her grandmother died, and she had nobody. She traveled around foster homes, never staying in one place because she was to much 'trouble', being blind. Misfortune seemed to emenate from Halie, though she was the nicest person anyone could claim to have ever met.
