The winning pet will be awarded with a lovely badge that they can proudly display on their page to all their buddies. Pet Cravings
If you head over to your extended pet information drop downs (which now take a couple of extra seconds to appear, so as to avoid accidental triggering), you'll see a brand new section has been added - Pet Cravings!
Each of your pets will periodically feel inclined to play with certain toys or sample certain culinary delights from the site. Cater to all of these wishes and the elation earned from doing so will give your pet a temporary boost in either their defence, strength or speed stats. These bonus stats could well give you the added oomph you need to trump your nemesis in the Coliseum!

New Flash Game - Adapt!
Another new Flash Game has hit Verpets. In Adapt you have to move and think fast to avoid balls of the opposite color while racking up your score.
As with all Flash Games, this game features the opportunity to earn (now weekly) High Score Medals and two fantastic bonus items!

Weeeeee... Extended Pet Info Panel
You can now conveniently view further information about your pets simply by running your mouse over their basic info in the top right of the layout. Info available includes equipped items, badges, battle stats and convenient links!
Oh and, you can once again send items to other via your inventory by clicking on an item and entering the username of the lucky user and an optional message to send with it.

Weekly Game Badges and Bonus VerPoints Update
We have FINALLY updated the method for handing out high score bonus VerPoints and badges. From now on only top weekly scores will earn badges and bonus points, meaning that those with the top place will have to fight it out to maintain it weekly and also giving a chance for more users to earn out of the Bonus VP awarded.
This is the last set of badges/vp to be awarded using the old, all time high score system. Game scores sent from now will count towards next weeks top scores - you can keep track on who is in the lead on the high score pages for each game.
Remember, along with Gold medals you receive 10,000 VerPoints, Silver 5,000 VerPoints and Bronze 2,500 VerPoints. This is on top of anything made from sending your score during the week!

Coliseum opponent stats have reset for another week's worth of battling! Those who beat their opponents up a multitude of times may find they've retained some of the stat increases for this new week of battling.

Introducing Vercomm
Vercomm is our awesome replacement for the old VerMail system. Vercomm offers you the ability to communicate privately between up to four Verpets users at once in your own mini 'conversations'. Notice how it beautifully recolors to your lovely color schemes too.
Vercomm allows new levels of organisation not previously seen with the old vermail system. Conversations can be arranged into 'boxes'. Boxes are created by you and normal users can create up to ten, our elite users can create twenty.
What about my old VerMails?!?!!?
So as to allow a gradual shift to the new system, we're going to be keeping all of your old VerMail available to you via a link from the new Vercomm page. However, you won't be able to reply to any mail using the old VerMail feature from now on - start a new Vercomm to continue your conversations.
