If your niche lies in the market, you'll want to familiarize yourself with all of the shopping areas on Verpets, along with the alternative ways to swap your items/verpoints with other players. This section of the guide will give you an in-depth look at all of these. Main Shops

You can find most of the Main Shops by navigating to the Shopping link located under the Features section of your sidebar. Additional shops can be found at various locations on the Island of Verpets map. Through these shops, you can buy items directly from Verpets NPCs, many times for lower prices than you would find in user shops. If you earn Verpoints by restocking, familiarizing yourself with the Main Shops is invaluable. In addition, each item you purchase from the Main Shops will give you Frequent Shopper Points (FSP). You can use these points to buy items from the Frequent Buyer Shop which can be found above the Main Shops map, or by following the link Here. The Frequent Buyer Shop contains an assortment of unique items with various functions ranging from items needed to complete collections, to pet species and color changers. Elite Users earn more Frequent Shopper Points from their purchases than normal users do, so if you're eyeing something in the Frequent Buyer Shop, a badge may be a good investment for you. User Shops

If there's an item you own that you would like to sell, or if you need to buy something without waiting for it to stock in the Main Shops, you can do so by visiting the User Shops, located under the Personal section of your sidebar. Here you can create a personal shop where you can sell any items you don't want, price items you'd like to buy or sell, and buy items from other users. The Search Shops option will allow you to search for an item in user shops, will show you which shop is selling the item, and at what price the item is being sold. It can be useful if you're looking to sell something but don't know what it's worth. Swaps

At the Swap Center, located under the Features Section of your sidebar, you can- what else?- swap your items, Verpoints, and VerCredits with other users. You can create a lot of up to ten items, and users can offer items, Verpoints, and Vercredits to buy them from you. Using the swap center allows you to wait until you get the perfect offer before you part with what you would like to sell. You can also browse through other users' lots and offer your items, Verpoints, or VerCredits if they have a lot you would like to buy. Auctions

The Auction House is located under the Features Section of your sidebar. Here you can put items up whose final price is determined by the users bidding on your item. You can place any starting price you would like on your item, as well as setting the minimum amount of Verpoints that can be bid on it each time. You are even able to control how long your auction will last- anywhere from one hour to a whole week!
