Upon joining Verpets, you will have plenty of questions about where everything is and how to navigate about Verpets. One of the quickest and most effective way to answer any questions you may have by yourself is to familiarize yourself with the side bar located on your left-hand side, as well as looking through the Island of Verpets map. Here we will give a brief explanation of both of these areas.
Site
Home: This is Verpets' home page. You will find several bits of information on Verpets, as well as buttons for registration and logging in.
News: If you're interested in what's going on at Verpets, check out the news every time you get an alert that there has been a new news post. We're always changing and updating things, and reading the news is a perfect way to stay up to speed.
Interact

Forums: Here you may talk and interact with other users, as well as ask questions, report glitches, learn strategies for the coliseum, and a host of other things. You will also see a link to "Preferences" in the forums, which is where you can go to edit your avatar, signature, user profile, and forum font/color, as well as where you can block users that you do not want communicating with you.
Oekaki: This is an area of the site which you may use to draw if you lack an art program on your computer, or if you just want to show off your pictures for all to see. You will have to register on the Oekaki to use it, and it has it's own set of rules which can be found Here.
Friends: You can find your VerFriends by going here. You can send friend requests to users by going to their profile, mousing over their username, or by typing their name in the "Request a Friend" bar. On the Friends page, you can also see your pending friend requests, as well as set up to eight "Top Friends" which will appear on your User Profile.
Blogs: Did something interesting happen to you today? Do you have a story you'd like everyone to see? Maybe you're making a set of goals that you'd like to achieve while on Verpets? The blogs area is a place for you. Here you may write anything you'd like so long as it's within the boundaries of the rules, and any users can read what you've written. You may also view and edit your blogs from this page, and search for the blogs of other users.
Fortresses: If you're passionate about something and want to gather with other users who share that ideal, you may either create a fortress or join an existing one that suits you.
Vermail: Vermail is yet another way you may communicate with other Users. You can send Vermails to users by clicking on the mail icon on their profile, or by clicking on the "Send a Letter" icon.
Chat: The Verpets Chat is an IRC- or Internet Relay Chat. If you would like to chat privately with a group of your friends, hold contest, or just chat in real-time somewhere other than the shoutbox, the IRC is the place for you to go. To log into the IRC, you must login using the format "/raw nickpass PASSWORD." So if your password is "bubbles," you would log in by typing /raw nickpass bubbles.
Personal

Inventory: Your inventory is where items you buy, are given, or win in games go by default. You may use the items in your inventory, or put them in your shop, safebox, or gallery, give them to other users, and so on.
My Pets: This is where you can see all of the pets you have created so far. From the My Pets page, you can give them buddies, enemies or companions, view or remove battle items equipped to them, change your pets name, or edit the actions that other users' pets are allowed to do to your pet. You can also release pets from this page.
User Shops: If you're looking to buy an item from a user or want to open your own shop, this is the place for you. Navigating from the User Shop's page, you can create your shop, edit the description, collect your shop till, search other user shops for items, and much more.
Bank: The bank is where you can store your Verpoints to protect them from being stolen by the Evil Penguin and the other dark forces of Verpets. Collecting your interest every day can also earn you a few extra Verpoints.
