Lily dropped her arms at her side with the gun still in one hand. She held it with a tight grip, but did as she was told once, what she assumed was a knife, was dug deeper into her back. Slowly, she walked towards the spot the man had pointed to. She could feel her heart beating quicker in her chest and she swallowed hard before speaking. “Can I turn around now? I’m not here to do any harm,” she said trying to hide how scared she was as best as she could. “I haven’t been bitten by those monsters either. I’m just looking for a place to rest,” she added. Her hand gripped the gun tighter as she waited for a response. She was quite tired since she had been running about all day and the crossbow on her back felt even heavier now. With a sigh, she closed her eyes hoping this guy was just being cautious and didn’t really want to hurt her.

"Go ahead." He said removing the blade away from her back. As she turned around he watched looking for any wounds on her or any indication she could have been attacked. "I just got here myself, can't be to cautious." He said after deciding she was telling the truth. He leaned against the wall to slide into a sitting position. "You should pay more attention to your surroundings, you walked right past me. That was the only reason I could sneak up on you." He closed his eyes as he put the blade back in it's rightful place. "...Take a seat, there's someone else in here other then us. We might as well be prepared to run into any form of hostility from the current occupant or occupants." Leaning his head against the wall he patted the ground next to him. "Take seat anywhere, or if you prefer you can go find the one who shot at me."

OOC:

Name: Thaddeus Pierpont Morgan
Age: 71
Personality: Thaddeus is a well rounded man, mostly due to his age. He feels that he can do almost anything and he honestly tries his hand at anything he can. He is a kind and sweet, caring man, full of smiles and good advice even in the times now. He speaks of being optimistic and he seems as such, something nearly impossible to most. The teacher in him will never die and he always tries to teach people around him. He's quite fatherly and loves company of others and tends to follow friends around from place to place while making commentary.
Looks: The first thing people always seems to notice about Thaddeus is that he is wheelchair bound. His chair has four wheels, the two much bigger in the back, with independent suspension that absorbs the shock from the road beneath him. Thaddeus, also called Thatch or Thad, had short and messy, gray George Clooney-esque hair which is covered by a gray felt Tyrol hat with a short Golden Pheasant feather perched in the left side brim. He wears a gray tweed suit, something that he takes very good care of, with a cream collared shirt under it, a red bow tie around his neck. His blue eyes are aided in sight by a pair of tortoise shell glasses. His mustache and beard combo seems neatly trimmed, thanks to the piece of glass he uses to trim with in his bag. Wrinkles, of course wrinkles from deep thought and age, rest mostly around the corners of his nose to create small half circles around his mouth and upon his forehead. His ski-slope of a nose turns up slightly and tilts more to the left, from being broken once.
Weapons: He carries a combat shotgun and a satchel full of various explosives and projectiles.
Crush: Not open for crushes.
Previous job: Full time high school teacher and part time college professor of English, Literature and Communications.
History: A long descendant of the J. P. Morgan of the famous financial fame, he holds quite the esteem around the business community. He helped head the business for a while in his younger days but then turned to teaching once he suffered an extreme head injury when he was mugged in the back streets of Boston, MA. He lost use of his legs from this injury and has been wheelchair bound since. The fateful day of the disease outbreak, he was teaching an honors literature class at the local high school, he remembers quite well that he was reading a passage from Inferno when the zombies stormed into the room and started to massacre the people around him. The only thing he wanted to do was protect his students as he screamed for them to go through the window behind his desk. Three young boys helped pull him through the window and he directed them to carry him to his house, which was nearby. For a while, he ran with a group of these students and tried to find safety for them. They holed up in his house, crafting ways to fortify the doors and windows and finding pleasure in each others company. As time went on, however, the sickness started to come to them and Thaddeus had to leave his precious students, who turned into something horrible.

It took Thaddeus forever to make his way to the source of the explosion. Normally he was the one making things explode around here, and it startled him to hear the sound of destruction that didn't originate from him. Since the time of the outbreak, Thatch was collecting things that could be useful. He especially liked when he found things that could go boom - explosives. He currently had quite the haul in his satchel that was slung over the push-bards of his wheelchair and into his lap.

Once he got there, hidden from the shadows, he was careful not to draw attention to himself. If he'd lived this long in life, he certainly wasn't going to go down because of some creature. Seeing them shuffle past reminded him of the vestibule of hell that Dante explained in his epic and grand tale Inferno. The dwellers of hell ran from place to place, knee deep in maggots that ate their rotting flesh, getting stung by wasps and leaking their own pus as they attempted to capture a banner that flew from one place to another, always out of their reach. As he was busy thinking of the connections to the zombies and the book that was in his satchel, he saw a figure dart past and run towards another structure.

It was going somewhere he'd never been, and this caused him to follow quietly. Careful not to run anything over with his wheels that could create sound, he tailed it to a terribly high wall. This had to be a prison, he assumed, and he wondered the way in. Resisting the urge to hum a song as he rolled himself closer to examine the building and what could possibly be inside, he heard a groan. His stomach was affuly hungry and he knew it just had to be him. In his bag, he had quite the stash of his favorite foods, including the Little Debbie snack cakes that he was lusting over.

The groan, however, came from behind him and started to grow louder. With one quick motion, the elderly man grew the speed of a superhero and tucked his shotgun into the pit of his arm. With one arm, he turned his chair around and with the other, he shot at the approaching undead wraith. With one more shot, it slumped to the ground and he rolled over to take the knife from his satchel and slice through the brain stem to insure it's eternal death. Shielding his eyes from the sun, he looked back at the building and wondered of what lay inside. It was bound to be a safe place, due to the high walls and the nature of the structure. It was designed to keep something in, which could now be changed to keep something out.

With this thought, Thaddeus made the pact with himself that he must get inside. After a few minutes of searching, the professor found a set of stairs - his worst enemy. Instead of rolling away in search for another place to enter, Thatch purposely slid out of the chair with a thud. His bony legs, lacking of muscle, fell to the ground in a heap like something discared in a trash bin. Using his strong arms, Thaddeus hoisted his chair up the stairs and onto the concrete foyer floor. Thaddeus took almost all of his strength to quickly drag himself up the stairs but he finally made it, adjusted his chair and hoisted himself up with his arms once again. The muscles still rippling in his arms, Tatch congratulated himself for being still being spunky despite his age.

Taking this as a sign from above that he can do anything, Thaddeus hooked his shotgun and hooked it into his underarm once more. Rolling slowly, head swiveling in all directions, he started to hear voices. Normal voices. Having a conversation. He craved conversation and he couldn't believe that there were other humans here! How could they have been here for so long without him even knowing that this place existed? His gravely voice called out as he rolled closer, his gun still in the crook of his shoulder but not aimed as high now, his heart beating ten speeds faster inside his chest as he grew ever so closer to the voices that graced his ears.

Cyrus heard the echo of voices as he made his way to the warden's quarters. He flicked on the interior intercom switch as his voice was deep"Now that i see i have guest. You better come to the warden's quarters soon or you will be brought to justice with lethal force for not following orders."he flipped the switch off as he quickly grabbed his piatol and placed it on the counter. Thr good thing about this quarters was that a stsir case lead to personnel quarters as he could hide their and wait.

Lilium's ears picked a noise coming from down the hall, still out of sight. "Shh." He noted to Lily. "I think I hear something." As they stopped what small talk they where having to hear down the halls, a deep voice came from the the over-com. As it explained to go to the guards quarters or be shot. "shoot. Guess they aren't as kind as I thought they were" He heaved himself off of the floor, stretched his arms and glanced around for a map of the prison. His search unsuccessful he picked a direction and headed off hoping it was right. He stopped and turned around. "You coming?" He asked Lily.
He didn't wait for a reply from her but continued down the hall until he came to cross section. He spotted down the hall a small bared off area assuming that was the room he was exposed to report to. He knocked on the wall as he leaned comfortably on the door way. "So, what you want with me?" He asked with a drousy look slowly taking over his facial expression. His head began to nod, completely ignoring the current situation he was in. He crossed his arms to get more comfortable against the hard and uncomfortable doorway.

Lily had been watching the man all the while he talked, unsure if he could be trusted yet or not. Since the whole virus had spread, many people that survived had gone mad. Lily had come across a woman a few days ago in an old farmhouse who tried to kill her. Unable to calm her, Lily had no other choice but to kill her in order to save her own life. After some inspection, she found that the woman had not been bitten nor had any other signs of infection. It was clear that the events of the virus spreading had caused shock and mental illness.
Hearing a voice over the intercom, Lily stood up from where she had taken a seat across the ginger-haired man. She was just about to ask his name, but that would have to wait until later. “Hold on, I’m coming,” she muttered, half to herself since it was barely a whisper. She followed him, watching as he made himself comfortable by leaning on the doorway.

Flustered that they walked in the other direction, Thaddeus rolled his eyes and rolled himself in the direction of the stairs where the other two humans went. He heard the voice as well, and the first thing he thought of was that the being it belonged to sound able to lead a rag-tag group of zombie hunters.

However, how did he even know that that is what he wanted? Perhaps he just wanted to slaughter them all or... or... beat them to the end of death and then rob them? Just like in Boston! Except he'd lose his snack cakes this time! He cringed at the thought and removed his hat in an attempt to be more suitable and respectful for a first meeting. Before the outbreak, Thatch removed his hat whenever he entered a building. Social rules like that never applied now, however, so he kept it perched atop his head the majority of the time.

"Hullo?" He called out, once he reached the long staircase. Something he'd never be able to get himself up on his own. He hung his head, trying not to get flustered at a time like his. He bit his lip harshly, leaving a small train of teeth marks in the chapped skin, as a small, silver tear fell from his eyes. He should just go, he couldn't do anything to be with these people. He sniffled, calling out once more, just in case, this time much louder than before. He added something this time, for the people to be ensured he wasn't a zom, "My name is Thaddeus P. Morgan!" Zombies couldn't speak full sentences like he did, and he hoped they'd realized this before they ran down to storm him, guns ablazing.

As he waited, he took a few deep breaths, wiping his face to ensure that the signs of his tears were going away.
